The Deputy Registrar's Office have responsibility for the governance, assurance and legal functions within the University, alongside health and safety, security, strategy and change, and strategic planning and analytics. Find out more about the DRO.
| Health, Safety and Well-being | The Health and Safety Team is responsible for ensuring that the University has professional advice on health and safety issues including provision of occupational health services. |
| Institutional Governance Services | The Institutional Governance Team supports the University Council in ensuring that our decision making and assurance structures are effective. We support risk management, business continuity and emergency planning, corporate records management and information security, as well as providing guidance on a range of policies and procedures. |
| Internal Audit | Internal Audit provide a professional, risk based audit and assurance service to management to assist them in delivering the University Strategy and in the effective management of the University's resources. |
| Legal Services | The Legal Services team aims to provide effective, relevant and timely legal advice, support and guidance to all members of University staff in legal issues affecting the University. |
| Security Services | The Security Team operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and support students, staff and visitors on campus. |
| Strategic Planning & Analytics Office | Strategic Planning & Analytics acts as the principal observatory of the University's national and international academic performance. Undertaking environment scanning and modelling, we produce analytics to inform major strategic developments in the University. |
| Strategy and Change | This team supports the senior management of the University to deliver its strategic priorities through project and programme management, change management and strategy development expertise. |
