Background
Steve completed a degree in Computer Science at Warwick before taking up a Research Assistant post in the Warwick Mathematics Institute in 1985, and subsequently a post as Systems Administrator also in the Mathematics Institute. During this time Steve was involved in the standardisation of the computer programming language C++, being an active member of the BSI C++ Panel from 1993 to 1998, and representing the UK at meetings of the ISO C++ Working Group JTC1/SC22/WG21, most often as Principal UK Expert.
In 1998 Steve moved to the IT Services department to be part of the Finance System Project Team, which later became the SAP Team, initially as a Systems Analyst, followed by 4 years as SAP Project Manager, and now as SAP Technical Manager within the Finance Office.

All technical aspects of SAP implementation, architecture, and support.
