Recent Changes to the University Calendar

Revisions to Ordinance 7

At its meeting held on 16 May 2012, the Council, on the recommendation of the Senate, approved for a second time amendments to Ordinance 7 on the Constitution of the Boards of the Faculties.

The revisions include changes arising from the establishment of the Sub-Faculty of Modern Languages, and the restructure of Warwick Medical School.

The Council at its meeting held on 16 May 2012 approved revisions to the following Regulations, on the recommendation of the Senate;

Regulation 2 governing Committee Elections

Regulation 9 governing the Constitution of Boards of Examiners

Regulation 23 on Disciplinary Regulations

The Council at its meeting held on 23 February 2012 approved revisions to the following Regulations, on the recommendation of the Senate;

Regulation 4 governing Annual Review by the Academic Staff Committee

Regulation 8 governing Regulation of First Degrees

Regulation 28 governing the Patenting and Commerical Exploitation of Research Results

Revisions to Ordinance 8

At its meeting held on 23 February 2012, the Council, on the recommendation of the Senate, approved for a second time amendments to Ordinance 8 on Sub-Faculties.

The revisions include changes arising from the establishment of the Sub-Faculty of Modern Languages.

Revisions to Ordinance 7 and 13

At its meeting held on 13 October 2011, the Council, on the recommendation of the Senate, approved for a second time amendments to Ordinance 7 on Boards of the Faculties and Ordinance 13 on Degrees and Diplomas.

The revisions include changes arising from the establishment of the School of Life Sciences and the subsequent dissolution of Warwick HRI and the Department of Biological Sciences, as well as reflecting the introduction of a new degree title of Master of Fine Arts (MFA).
