How do I create an Outlook profile in Outlook 2003?

1. Click on Start, Control Panel. Double click on Mail and click on Show Profiles.
Click on the Add button and enter a profile name, then click OK:
2. The following Wizard will then load:
3. Check the “Microsoft Exchange Server” button and click on Next:
4. Enter the address elder.ads.warwick.ac.uk as shown below. Ensure the “Use Cached Exchange Mode" box is ticked. Enter your user name and click on the Check Name button, this should then underline the server name and your username.
If you have any issues at this stage you may have problems connecting to the server or the server does not recognise your user code.
Click on the More Settings button:
5. You will be asked to enter your login name. Your login details as follows:
User name: ads\<Login ID> Password: as set in the password change page
6. After logging in to the server the screen will be updated as shown below – Click on Next.
7. Click on the Security Tab and check the option “ Encrypt Data between Microsoft Office Outlook and Microsoft Exchange Server” checkbox is ticked.
Click on the OK button to confirm.
Then click on Next button on the previous Window.
Note: You will not be able to connect exchange if you do not choose this option.
Note: You may be asked to log in again after completing this – if so re-enter your username and password.
8. The final screen of the wizard loads – click on the Finish button to complete the process.
