    IPAM - DHCP and DNS

    Service Description

    IP Address Management (IPAM) is the term used for managing the DNS and DHCP systems for the network. This covers both the main Campus network along with ResNet. The current system us comprised of 4 Bluecat Adonis boxes, built for resiliency and redundancy.


    List of standard requests

    • Request to allocate a fixed IP address - online form
    • Domain name registration - online form


    Charges

    The IPAM service is free at the point of use.


    Availability

    This service is available 24hrs a day, 7 days a week, apart for periods of non-availability required for planned maintenance. Support for the service is available during standard support hours (8:30 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday, 8:30 - 16:30 Friday).
