Annual Review - Handling Difficult Conversations

Course Overview Dates, venues and booking

The essence of a valuable annual review is the quality of the conversation between reviewee and reviewer, and sometimes these conversations can be difficult.  For example there may be:

  • tricky performance issues to explore
  • sensitive development needs to be addressed
  • important but difficult to discuss questions over future career development
  • valuable feedback to be shared – in either direction
  • problems with the working relationship

If you are a reviewer or reviewee, we can help you to prepare for a high quality annual review conversation by offering you the opportunity to engage in a ninety-minute, one-to-one, confidential coaching session with one of our L&D Advisers.  To arrange a coaching conversation, please email Linda Pettifor at L.Pettifor@warwick.ac.uk  indicating a deadline before which you’d like to have had the coaching session.
