Admissions Tutors, Personal Tutors, Administrators dealing with Admissions, anyone interested.

Content

Find out what services the Centre for Applied Linguistics provides for International Students, including pre-sessional language classes, in-sessional classes (including tailor-made classes for departments) and individual support for research students.

What will I get out of this?

By the end of the session you will have

  • Gained an understanding of the work the NABA team does at CAL

  • Learn more about what the UK Border Agency regulations mean in practice and the effect they may have on recruitment

  • Learn how CAL may be able to help you improve your recruitment figures both in quantity and quality

  • Considered how effective language training provision can be in helping international students to a flying start and an excellent experience at Warwick
