Who is it for?
All staff.

What will be covered?
Identifying individual responsibilities under equalities legislation – Definitions of the 7 main offences that exist within the Equality Act 2010 – Harassment, Victimisation, Indirect Discrimination, Direct Discrimination, Third Party Harassment, Discrimination by Association and Discrimination by Perception. Recognise the 9 protected characteristics.
Response to Dominance model – Understand why we don’t’ challenge inappropriate behaviours even when we know we need to.

What will I get out of this?
A knowledge/understanding of the Equality Act 2010 – including the types of discrimination and the protected characteristics.
