This workshop explores the skills and strategies needed for working effectively with large groups of students. The focus is on presentation skills.
Who is it for?
Academic and research staff (in a teaching role). This workshop is also one of four core workshops for PCAPP participants.
Session Objectives
By the end of the session you will have;
- Gained an understanding of the skills and attributes needed for presenting material to large groups of students, including an introduction to voice production, using space well, the power of movement, establishing the student/teacher relationship in a large group setting, and making the most of personal qualities and expressiveness.
- Practised these skills using a variety of short exercises

Please wear comfortable clothing for the practical exercises.
