Teaching small groups explores a range of skills and approaches important to learning in seminar-sized settings.
Who is it for?
Academic and research staff (in a teaching role). This workshop is also one of four core workshops for PCAPP participants.
Session Objectives
By the end of the session you will have;
- Gained an understanding of key skills for small group teaching, including building trust and collaborative working, promoting active learning in your discipline and facilitating effective discussion and debate.
- Practised these skills using a variety of short exercises
