Course Overview Dates, venues and booking


Exploring intrapreneurship in relation to research staff development, the focus being on articulating intrapreneurial capabilities in academic and business environments.

  • An introduction for research staff to the concepts eg innovation, enterprise, entrepreneuship and intrapreneurship in an academic and non-academic context.
  • An intrapreneurial assessment form highlighting the capabilities and skills displayed by superior performing intrapreneurial researchers. The form enables researchers to reflect on their own intrapreneurial abilities and identify areas for development.
  • A series of academic and non-academic scenarios to highlight the capabilities and skills displayed by superior performing researchers and corporate intrapreneurs.
  • Research staff sharing their experiences and top tips.

Research staff.

Session Objectives
By the end of this session you will have covered:

  • Increased knowledge & an understanding of the concepts; innovation, enterprise, entrepreneuship and intrapreneurship
  • Considered the opportunities available to you & your research
