Introduction to Networking

Course Overview Dates, venues and booking


This session will provide an introduction to and opportunity to practice the basic skills required for effective networking. This session is designed for those who dread the idea of ‘business networking’ and want to learn some tips and techniques to build confidence in this area.

Who is it for?
Anyone who is required to network as part of their role or for those interested in learning more about how to network.

Session Objectives
The session will look at:

  • The benefits of networking
  • Creating the right ‘first impression’
  • How to ‘work the room’ – leaving and joining groups
  • How to start the conversation
  • How to build relationships

What will I get out of this?
Participants will learn some basic networking tips and techniques to help build their confidence to engage with future business networking opportunities.
