Mandatory course, introducing new academics to the support available for research at Warwick.

Who is it for?
The workshop is mandatory for academic staff on probation.

Session Objectives
Warwick is proud of its research track record and places great emphasis on promoting and supporting research in every department. This session will look at new research initiatives across the university and describe the support mechanisms in place to help academic staff secure research funds.

By the end of the session you will have gained:

  • a greater understanding of the university strategy for research

  • an increased awareness of the support available for research from RSS

There is no requirement for you to have previous experience of research as this workshop will focus on research strategies and support in the Warwick context.
