The Springboard Programme
What is Springboard?Springboard is an award-winning, nationally recognised development programme for women designed to encourage women to develop a range of personal effectiveness skills. At Warwick this is currently delivered by external licensed trainer, Liz Castle.
Who is Springboard for?Springboard is open to all female employees of any staff category, but it is important to emphasise that if you are in a senior management role then Springboard is NOT for you and that other development opportunities are open to women in senior roles. Please contact Sharon Neal s.f.neal@warwick.ac.uk for more information. Five Springboard programmes have been delivered at Warwick. Each cohort has included staff from all groups, academic, research, administrative, clerical, technical and manual. Why do people value Springboard?Employers and employees alike report increased motivation and confidence among women who complete the programme. Participants say that they feel more confident, are willing to show initiative and develop the habit of setting and achieving clearer goals after they complete Springboard.
