Getting the most out of your Project

Your project will involve a considerable investment of time and effort. This has perhaps taken you away from other areas of work such as your research, so it makes sense to wring every last drop of value from it. Far too often, good work in teaching and learning development does not receive recognition outside of a course.

If your project is funded there may be an agreed way of disseminating the work for which you will have earmarked some of the funding. Even here though, you should not limit yourself to what you have agreed to do.

  • Strike while the iron is hot – e-learning projects can date quickly.
  • Disseminate locally
  • Disseminate more widely
  • Think about publishing in educational or e-learning journals.
