Unite and Fight! Black Britain & Anti-Fascism
The Modern Records Centre’s current exhibition highlights the role of the Afro-Caribbean community in the British fight against fascism – focusing on protests against the invasion of Abyssinia in 1935, the home front during the Second World War, the Notting Hill riots of 1958, and fights against the National Front during the 1970s.
The exhibition is part of the University of Warwick’s commemoration of Black History Month 2016.
