    What are the Library Stores?

The Library Stores house material that is in less demand than stock on the main floors but is within an area of known teaching/research interest or is superceded, but still of scholarly value. The Stores are managed by the Resource Delivery team of the Library (contact details below).

How do I request material from store?

When you come across material in the Library Catalogue that is held in the Library Stores, the book or journal will have a location listed as either a Store or an External Store link.

If you click on the link you will be taken to an online form. Complete this with the details of the item you are requesting as well as your details.

Note: a separate form needs to be completed for each item you request. Forms are slightly different for journal requests and book or video requests. You will be prompted on the form if you have left out important information.

    How long do requests take?

    Items from the Onsite store

Requests made Monday - Friday 09:00-15:30 will normally be available the same day. Requests made outside these times will normally be available within 24 hours, except for Fridays when they will normally be available by the following Monday.
Note: there are no collections on Saturdays or Sundays.

    Items from the External store
Collections are made on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Requests received before 09:45 will normally be dealt with the same day. Requests received after 09:45 will be carried forward to the next collection.

How do I know when my requested material is available?

The Resource Delivery team will email you when your item is ready for collection. Items can be collected from the Help Desk on Floor 1 of the Library - simply tell the member of staff you wish to collect a Store item. Loan periods are Standard Loan for the majority of Store books, although some items are for reference use only. Journals cannot be borrowed and are for use in the Library only.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE THAT STORE ITEMS MAY ONLY BE COLLECTED FROM THE HELP DESK DURING STAFFED HOURS - http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/library/basics/openinghours/
