Following the last 4 widely successful and creative events, the Learning Grid is once again proud to present the Invitation to Exhibit Photographic Competition, 2010.

This year's theme is 'Emergence', which can involve nearly absolutely anything. From flowers blooming to buildings being built, there's a vast array of objects or things you can snap to do with our theme. Originality and creativity is awarded, so don't be afraid to do something different! (Just make sure you can explain how it has something to do with 'Emergence'!)

Show us what your understanding of the word Emergence is. What do you think of when you hear the word emergence? Can you picture it? 

Please make sure you submit a short paragraph with your picture, and explain the reasoning behind it. Explain to the judges what it is the photograph is trying to convey, and what your idea of emergence is.
