    Brushmakers

The Centre does not hold the records of any of the various associations of brushmakers. The records of the main union, the National Society of Brushmakers, formed in 1917 by the amalgamation of the United and Amalgamated Societies of Brushmakers, are held by the Working Class Movement Library in Salford. This archive contains some of the records of the National Society's predecessors as well.
