What is the value of depositing in WRAP?
Short answer: It gives greater visibility and accessibility to your work.
Why do you want the full text for WRAP and not just the publication details?
Short answer: WRAP is an online archive and not a Publications Database.
Do I need to update WRAP with my entire back catalogue of work?
Short answer: No .... but we would like it!
Why don't you just put everything I've published into WRAP for me?
Short answer: Only authors have the appropriate versions.

Open Access
Short answer: No subscription barriers to access.
My article is Open Access, so why can't you put the final version in for me?
Short answer: Copyright law still applies to open access articles.

Which version of my journal article should I submit to WRAP?
Short answer: Author's draft please. If you send us any version we'll check the copyright, though.
How do I find out about my journal publisher's policies?
Short answer: Refer to your own agreement or look up the policy on SHERPA/RoMEO.
What content is eligible for inclusion in the WRAP repository?

What format should my document be in, for WRAP?
Short answer: It doesn't matter. Send us any format and we will convert it for you.
I've had an invitation to send WRAP a recently published journal article. Where has this come from?
Short answer: We are monitoring alerts to tell us when Warwick authors are publishing.
Some of my papers appear in WRAP and I didn't submit them, how did this happen?

Can I link to WRAP content from my own web page?
Short answer: Yes, there are three main ways to do this (follow the link for more details).
How do I cite an article that I found in a repository?
Short answer: Don't! Cite the published version.
How do I use a repository to find research on my topic?
Short answer: Google will return repository content in its results.
How will the data in WRAP be used?
Short answer: WRAP data will be openly accessible to all.

Why does my name look strange in WRAP?
Short answer: We follow Library of Congress standards.
Are you going to retrospectively add the existing Expertise/MyProfile data to WRAP?
Short answer: No, see also this faq.
Do I have to also update Expertise/MyProfile with the same information?
Short answer: No, WRAP will pass the details on to Expertise/MyProfile when we have completed the record.
