What content is eligible for inclusion in the WRAP repository?
WRAP is for research work written by accredited members of the University of Warwick.
Our full content policy is being developed: we are especially interested in material written for journal article publication and PhD theses. PhD theses submitted since October 2008 will therefore be submitted in electronic as well as print form, and they will reach WRAP through the Graduate School. Guidance for PhD students and supervisors is available online.
Some authors may also receive a personal invitation to deposit work into WRAP, we would hope that all Warwick authors would deposit to us without waiting for such an invitation, so we very much welcome all deposits.
Authors can send us journal articles at any stage in the writing process, but we recommend that only articles that have been accepted for publication are sent to WRAP, because it is at this stage that the publisher's copyright policy becomes apparent, and indeed authors should be aware of publishers' agreements that they sign requiring their work to be unpublished elsewhere. Some publishers consider repository deposit to be publishing. Find out more about journal article versions and publisher policies.
