Mark desired references > Select the Cite button and select the RIS option and Continue. This will save the file.

Try right clicking on the file and this may send the file directly to Endnote. If this fails, open Endnote and go to File > Import > File. Upload the saved file to the Import File box. From the Import Option box, select the option for RefMan RIS. If this filter is not displayed, select Other Filters and find the filter. Click Import.

Mark desired references > Select the Cite button and select the RIS option and Continue. This will save the file.

There is no need to open it but you may need to save it depending on your browser > Open your EndNote Online account > Click Collect > Import references > Select RefMan RIS as the import option.

Mark desired references > Click Export> Select RIS from the Export To box> Select the option for Complete Reference>Click Export Citations> This will save the file. Double click on the .RIS file and the references should be automatically imported into Endnote.

If this method doesn’t work for you:

Mark desired references > Click Export> Select Reprint/Medlars from the Export To box> Select the option for Complete Reference>Click Export Citations> Save as a text file.

Open Endnote and go to File > Import > File. Upload the saved file to the Import File box. From the Import Option box, select the database you have searched, i.e. Medline (OvidSP). If the database is not displayed, select Other Filters and find the database. Click Import.

Mark desired references > Click Export> Select Reprint/Medlars from the Export To box> Select the option for Complete Reference>Click Export Citations> Save as a text file and import into EndNote Online using the appropriate database filter.

Mark desired references by selecting the blue folder icon > Click on Folder View on the right-hand side > Click the checkbox to Select/deselect all > Click Export > Select Direct export in RIS Format > Click Save

Google Scholar

To export multiple references: Sign into your Google account. Run a search > Click the star next to each reference you want to export > Click on My Library on the left hand side of the screen > Select the references you want to export, click the download button and choose the Endnote option.

Try right clicking on the file and this may send the file directly to Endnote. If this fails, open Endnote and go to File > Import > File. Upload the saved file to the Import File box. From the Import Option box, select the option for Endnote Import. If this filter is not displayed, select Other Filters and find the filter. Click Import.

Mark desired references > From the Send To option select Citation manager > Create File.

Try right clicking on the file and this may send the file directly to Endnote. If this fails, open Endnote and go to File > Import > File. Upload the saved file to the Import File box. From the Import Option box, select the option for PubMed (NLM). If this filter is not displayed, select Other Filters and find the filter. Click Import.

Mark desired references > Click the RIS Export drop down menu > Select the options for RIS format (EndNote, References Manager) and select the information you want to export > Click Export > 

Try right clicking on the file and this may send the file directly to Endnote. If this fails, open Endnote and go to File > Import > File. Upload the saved file to the Import File box. From the Import Option box, select the option for RefMan RIS. If this filter is not displayed, select Other Filters and find the filter. Click Import.

Mark desired references > Click Export > Export Citation to RIS.

Try right clicking on the file and this may send the file directly to Endnote. If this fails, open Endnote and go to File > Import > File. Upload the saved file to the Import File box. From the Import Option box, select the option for RefMan RIS. If this filter is not displayed, select Other Filters and find the filter. Click Import.

Web of Science

Mark desired references > Click Export > Select EndNote Desktop. The references will be automatically sent to the Endnote.

Mark desired references > Click Export > Select EndNote Online. The references will be automatically sent to the Endnote.
