Information Skills
Welcome to this information skills tutorial. The aim of this online resource is to provide you with tips and information on how to find information within the physical and online Library environments.
A variety of media will be used to illustrate how you can access these resources, and at the end of several sections there will be a brief online quiz. In addition throughout this tutorial you can also contact your Subject Librarian for further information. This tutorial is designed to complement the training sessions that you will receive in week 1 and week 3 of your course.
Getting Started
This section introduces you to the Library service. Several short videos assist you in identifying how to find books and journals online and how to use your MyLibrary account.
Electronic Resources
This section introduces you to the Centre for Translation and Comparative Cultural Studies Library resources page. It provides you with an insight into the resources that are available. A short quiz is also available to assist you in this section.
Using other Libraries and Document Supply
This section introduces you to what you need to do if the item you are looking for is not available in the Library.
