Renewals

You can renew your books using the self-issue machines of Floor 1 or online via your My Library Account. Please note: we will try and automatically renew your books for you. Any claims returns you wish to make must be supported by a returns receipt. If you would like a demonstration on how to return items please ask Library staff for help or watch our'returns' video.

There is a book drop facility at the entrance to the Library. This is available 21:30-08:30 Monday to Sunday but you will not be issued with a returns receipt.

Overdues

If an item is not returned by the due date, it is considered to be overdue and is subject to overdue charges. Email notices will be sent to your email account. Please note that it is the borrower's responsibility to return items on time and to return all items if they are not going to be in a position to return a recalled item within the required 7 day period. The Library will not accept non-receipt of overdue notices as a reason for waiving action.
