    Music Centre Facilities

Within the Music Centre, there is a suite of practice rooms, all of which are equipped with pianos and which are available to all staff and students of the University - just turn up and find one that's not in use. The practice rooms are generally open as follows and can only be reserved in advance by recognised ensembles or Music Centre tutors:

    Monday - Saturday

    8.30am - 10.30pm
    Sunday 1.30pm - 9.30pm

    Bank Holidays

    1.30pm - 9.30pm

We also have an extensive Choral and Orchestral music library for society use, percussion and instrument stores and a variety of keyboard instruments, including grand pianos and a harpsichord.

We have an electronic drum kit located in one of our practice rooms for kit players and there is also an acoustic kit available by joining the Drumming Society and having your card activated for entry. This is located in the Westwood Music Block.

The Music Centre is located within Warwick Arts Centre, the largest venue of its kind in the UK outside the Barbican Centre in London. Our larger ensembles regularly perform in its 1500-seat Butterworth Hall, whilst our smaller groups make frequent use of the two Theatres, the Butterworth Hall, Helen Martin Studio and a dedicated Ensemble Room.
