This concert features two of the cornerstones of clarinet repertoire; Johannes Brahms’ Second Sonata for clarinet and piano and Francis Poulenc’s Sonata for clarinet and piano.
Accompanying these two pieces are Pastoral for clarinet and piano by Arthur Bliss and Gershwin’s Three Preludes.
