Claire and Brian are a recently formed duo based in the Bristol area. Experienced chamber musician Claire Alsop is much in demand as pianist, organist, teacher and examiner. Brian Mullan enjoys a varied playing career, including orchestral and opera work, but has always preferred playing in smaller ensembles. Today's varied programme will include the last Beethoven Cello Sonata, and the first movement of the Walton Cello Concerto performed as a stand-alone concert piece.
