The Cygnus Trio represents the capacity of music and musicianship to transcend physical and geographical boundaries, with twin homes in Valencia and London. They formed at the Royal Academy of Music in 2012 and have been playing and travelling together ever since. The trio has performed at several festivals, including the International Classical Music Festival in Villanueva de los Infantes, Ciudad Real; the Santander International Festival and Music Coll 2015. They have been awarded prizes at several competitions all over Spain. On the 17th November, they will be performing Brahms' Piano Trio in C major op. 87.
