Scholarships 2012/2013 informationMusic Scholarship important information: We are unable to run the external scholarships this academic year and so ALL scholarships will be auditioned in October 2012, for both incoming students and existing students. Applications will be accepted from the beginning of September 2012 and forms will be available online from 1st September. Any full time undergraduate can apply for these. Music Scholarship holders are expected to contribute heavily to the musical life of the campus. Scholarships are only given to students with exceptional musical ability so scholars will have a role of playing to a high standard and inspiring the students they play alongside in their music-making. We also encourage scholars to take advantage of the excellent music tutors who work here. The Keyboard Accompaniment Scholar may be required to play for weekly Chamber Choir rehearsals and to be available to accompany other groups as designated by the Director of Music. Auditions for the Internal Scholarships run alongside the Bursary auditions and a referee is required to provide feedback and comment on the auditionee.
