What we do

Warwick's strategic objectives highlight the importance of research to the future continued success of the University. Research Support Services is the central administrative function in the University dedicated to supporting the continued growth in our research capacity and maximising the impact of that research through knowledge transfer and related activities. We work in close partnership with our academic colleagues, our external funders and collaborating organisations to develop research activities in all areas and disciplines.

For researchers, we provide advice and support from the moment you conceive an idea for research, from helping you find funding for your research through to putting together your application to a funder. We can guide you through financial regulations, governance and funder’s rules and procedures. And when you secure your funding, we will manage your project financially and offer ongoing advice.

For departments, we can provide reports and information to help you manage the research in your department. We can also assist you to enhance the research profiles of your academics, making their expertise more visible to the wider research community.
