Maria is the Research Development Officer for Warwick Medical School. She seeks out new opportunities for projects and funding, disseminates them within the Medical School, and helps researchers with applications. She works closely with the Research and Development team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, in order to provide a joined-up service for collaborative proposals, and she is located at the Walsgrave site on Mondays.
Maria has previously worked in the NHS, as a project manager at the University of Bristol, and as a researcher in a high-tech SME that was spun out from the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency. Her academic background is in phonetics and linguistics.
