Accept an Award
All externally funded research must be formally accepted by the University through Research Support Services. This includes research grants, contract research and donations given for research purposes.
Accepting an Award - this section gives information on university procedures relating to accepting externally funded research.
HOD Acceptance - the Head of Department must formally accept an award before it can progress.
Cheques and Donations - there are university rules regarding the acceptance of cheques and donations that must be adhered to.
Research Governance - it is the responsibility of the principal investigator and Head of Department to ensure that all research obtains appropriate ethical approval before it proceeds.
Once you have accepted an award, we will manage the project budget and post-award processes in consultation with you.
