Manage a Project
In this section, you will find a range of resources and information to assist in the management of research projects once funding has been secured.
Managing a Project - once an award has been accepted, it enters the post-award phase of administration. This section gives information and advice in this area, including: Finance, Reporting, Recruitment, Students and IP
Closing a Project - at the end of each project, financial budgets must be considered and balanced before the project can be closed down.
Post Award Financial Procedures Manual - these pages contain all the University's procedures relating to the post award administration of research projects. It is a practical set of documents that are used by the Research Finance Division on a day-to-day basis. Effective management of research projects is a joint responsibility and we would therefore encourage all University members working in this area to consult the guidance therein on a regular basis.
Research Accounting - this section covers several key topics that are more general matters relating to research accounting.
Managing European Funding - guidelines on the post award management of these projects.
