Power Nap (Free) Book Online

Time: 1:00-1:30pm | Instructor: Jude Evans | Location: Activity Room

Power naps can alleviate sleep deficits and improve brain functions like memory, focus and creativity. They are also good for our heart, blood pressure, stress levels, and surprisingly, even weight management. We provide the yoga mat, blanket, pillow and eyemask and an instructor will guide you in to a relaxed state so you can get some much needed rest.

Yoga for Study (Free) Book Online

Time: 6:00pm - 6:45pm | Instructor: Jude Evans | Location: Ikea Room (SU)

A calming yoga class, incorporating Hatha, Restorative and Yin. This class is aimed at boosting your memory and concentration, leaving you prepared to tackle assignments and exams. A beginners class but all are welcome and would benefit from the therapeutic effects of yoga.

Serene Swim (Free) Book Online

Time: 2:00-3:00pm | Instructor: Alex Rimmer | Location: Swimming Pool

A chance for you to swim (and sauna) in a calm environment with chill music, no lanes and limited people so you have space. This is not a guided class, it is just creating space for you to swim in a chilled environment.

Stretch & Relax (Free) Book Online

Prolonged stress contributes to muscle tightness, especially in those shoulder regions. This beginners movement class will help induce muscle relaxation and is sure to have a calming effect on both your body and your mind.

Resistance to Stress (Free) Book Online

Time: 12:00pm - 12:30pm | Instructor: Jo | Location: Humanities Studio

This supportive class is geared toward those completely new to resistance training. Our lovely instructor will guide you through a series of non-intimidating exercises that increase muscle, bone and tendon strength. Our aim is to have you leave the class feeling better then you did when you arrived. Dress in comfortable clothes (no need for fancy kit) with shoes that have some grip!

Looking to be active during your lunch hour but don't want to return to work too sweaty? This class will combine light movement and stretching that you can do in regular clothing. Perfect for complete beginners or those wanting to add additional activity in to their day. Studies show that even light forms of physical activity throughout the day help improve mood and help you keep focused!
