EXTRA SWIMMING TIME AVAILABLE : Owing to a decrease in training requirements, the swimming pool is now available for casual swimming for the whole of Friday evenings as well as extra space being available some mid-week mornings. Please pick up a revised copy of the timetable from the Sports Centre Reception.

EXAMS IN DESSO HALL MONDAY 21ST - SATURDAY 26TH MAY INCLUSIVE : Due to exams taking place, the Desso Hall will be out of action from Saturday 19 - Sunday 27 May inclusive. We apologise for any inconvenience caused which is out of our hands. Please see the calendar on the right of this page for a list of exercise classes that will not take place owing to the exams.

BANK HOLIDAY OPENING HOURS : Please note that the Sports Centre and Tennis Centre will be open as normal on Monday 4th June and Tuesday 5th June, however, the Westwood Games Hall, Athletics Track and synthetic pitches will be open from 14.45-21.30/22.00 only. Please see the calendar on the right of this page for a list of exercise classes that will not take place on the above dates.

Our customers who prefer to PAY PER VISIT can now purchase this IN ADVANCE ON THE DAY of their visit to the Sports Centre. This is available for WARWICKSPORT and the FITNESS SUITE at http://warwicksport.warwick.ac.uk/join/

The STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING (S&C) ROOM REQUIRES an INDUCTION BEFORE YOU CAN USE THE EQUIPMENT. Staff and Students can book by clicking on the link and logging-in to the webpage Induction Booking. External members can call 02476 574599 to make a booking. This process is to ensure all members can use the equipment correctly in line with Health & Safety and will ensure members get the most from the equipment.

WARWICK TO PLAY KEY ROLE IN 2012 OLYMPICS - The University will play a vital role in the 2012 Olympic Games when the City of Coventry plays host to the Games' Football matches. Football teams from all over the world will practise on the pitches on Gibbet Hill Campus and the Players will use the University's award-winning conference facilities.
