We have some special rates available for members of the Emergency Services of Fire, Ambulance or Police. Entry to the Bear Rock Climbing Centre during off-peak hours - at the concessionary student rate of £3.35 on production of a photo-identify card or warrant card. Off-peak hours are 07:30-17:00 Monday to Friday inclusive.

The Bear Rock Climbing centre (situated 5 minutes from go outdoors), is the Midlands no.1 climbing facility. We have 40 leading and top rope lines, ranging from easy angled slabs to our 13.5m high, 5m overhanging competition wall, with routes ranging from grade 3 through to 8a. In addition to this we have a dedicated bouldering room with a campus board and problems set from V0 through to V11. So whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro we have something for you.
