Our workshops can be popular and we sometimes need to limit the number of people who can register. After you register we'll send an email confirming your place. We'll also contact you before the workshop to remind you that you have a place booked - if for any reason you can no longer take up your place, it is important to let us know - email Trudy at T.A.Haywood@warwick.ac.uk - so that your place can be re-allocated to someone else.

FAQs about workshops: What if I register, then I realise I can't make the date after all? Our workshops can be popular we appreciate it if you let us know if you can't keep your place - email Trudy at T.A.Haywood@warwick.ac.uk - so that your space can be re-allocated to someone else. Why might I want a Certificate of Attendance? It is useful to collate a CV portfolio throughout your time at University with evidence of what you have attended outside of your degree modules. Sometimes this is helpful to include in applications for jobs, further study courses, internships, etc. You can check the box on the registration form and a certificate will be prepared for you. How many workshops can I register for? You can register for as many as you wish, but you will need to complete a separate online registration form for each workshop. Also, we urge you to check you are free to attend each workshop you regsiter for and make a note of the date and time. What about other workshop titles? The University Counselling Service is continually updating its workshop programme in the light of feedback. You may be interested in checking out other titles at http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/services/skills/usp/workshops I'm a bit anxious about coming along to a workshop. What can I expect? Have a look at the short film clip of the counselling service. You will be greeted by Trudy, the Secretary, on arrival. The workshops are relaxed in a supportive learning environment. All the facilitators are from the Counselling Team. If you want specific information about your workshop choice, eg how many others will be there, etc, feel free to contact Trudy by phone (02476 523761) or email (t.a.haywood@warwick.ac.uk) for details. Where are the workshops held? All workshops are in Westwood House, on the Westwood campus, which is about 15 minutes walk from central campus. If you are interested in participating in a workshop, please register for a place by visiting the title above (you will need to complete a separate registration form for each workshop you wish to attend). You will receive an email confirmation with full details of location. If you require further information please email counselling@warwick.ac.uk, or telephone Trudy, the Secretary, on 024765 23761 or call in to reception at University Counselling Services Reception in Westwood House. A reminder will be issued shortly before the workshop confirming the time and venue. All workshops are designed and facilitated by counsellors from the UCS team.
