Warwick Ventures Limited is a small team dedicated purely and simply to protecting and commercialising the intellectual property of the University of Warwick. In practical terms - as far as our academics are concerned - it means that you have a prima-facie entitlement to a very generous 50% of the net proceeds of any commercialisation deal that we can secure on behalf of the University.*
Our work is a very important in terms of providing an income stream for the University and, we hope, should be of particular interest to any entrepreneurial academics who are excited by the challenge - and potential rewards - of helping to create their own business founded upon their own research. From our perspective, it doesn't matter if your idea is the result of years of research or whether you had a Eureka moment yesterday. We can help you with:
