Proof of concept funding aims to address the funding gap between the outputs of grant funded research and a commercialisation-ready technology. It allows researchers to explore further the technical feasibility of their invention and to prove its market potential.
From time to time the University of Warwick has two proof of concept funds available:
- Warwick Impact Fund Proof of Concept Awards
These awards are made from the Warwick Impact Fund.
- Warwick Ventures Proof of Concept Fund
This is a limited fund provided by Warwick Ventures. Awards can be made in conjunction with the Warwick Impact Fund.
Please note that Proof of Concept funding will only be awarded to projects already registered with Warwick Ventures. To register your project with Warwick Ventures please complete the form on our University Members' page.
