Awards

Business plan competitions are an extremely effective way of testing the commercial value of a technology. As such each year we actively promote our technologies in regional business plan competitions and have a good track record to show for our efforts. It has the added benefit of keeping our BDM's business plan authoring skills honed, too, thus maintaining this vital skill set within the department.

If you are working as part of a University of Warwick Spin-Out, please ask your BDM for further information. It might not be the right time for your business to enter one of these competitions -maybe your proof of concept work needs further time to come to fruition - but as and when it is ready, you can be assured of the best advice, and some free publicity!

The left hand side column indicates just some of the most prominent business plan competitions in the region.
