Enhancing learning & teaching at Warwick: student engagement event

WIHEA (Warwick International Higher Education Academy) seeks to develop, recognise and embed outstanding academic practices that enhance student opportunities to ‘learn beyond boundaries’. Cross boundary learning, key to a Warwick education, enables students to challenge knowledge and engage with the world critically both during and beyond their studies.

Last academic year, WIHEA awarded 18 project teams with funding through the Student Engagement Programme to enable staff and students to work together in project teams and develop collaborative partnership models across departments, to optimise the student experience and enhance learning outcomes. The funding covered staff and student time to plan; deliver and evaluate a range of assessment & feedback, research linked teaching and technology enhanced practice (Digichamps) projects.

This event aims to share the learning from each project with the wider University. Come and take a look at how students got involved with enhancing learning and teaching at Warwick at our informal poster display and information sharing lunch. Meet and learn more, directly from the staff and students involved and find out how you could get involved this year.
