New Student Welfare Officer on hand to help

Elaine Moore is the Centre’s new, dedicated Student Welfare Officer working across all of our programmes.

The purpose of Elaine’s role is to ensure that you receive appropriate levels of pastoral and academic support during your studies, helping to promote student wellbeing and enabling you to enjoy your student experience.

Working with students who are studying at the University or at one of our partner colleges, Elaine offers a listening ear and tailored advice on measures students can take to improve their own wellbeing.

She also provides study related advice to students experiencing difficulties on time management, balancing family, study and work, IT skills, returning to study after a period of absence or studying at undergraduate degree level for the first time.

Anybody who is thinking about studying with us at the Centre for Lifelong Learning can speak to Elaine to get some free and friendly advice before deciding whether it’s the right choice for you.
