Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL) Fees
If you are attending a course at the university you will have to pay car parking fees if the lesson is Monday-Friday and between 8am-6pm.
A number of students within CLL will be invited to a graduation ceremony in the summer or winter. Attendance, robing and photography all incur costs. You may opt out of attendance.
A number of courses conclude with a dissertation, the minimum fee for binding (through Warwick Print) is £6. There are also more expensive options available to students.
All CLL courses have elements of blended learning, therefore all students will require access to a computer/laptop and on some courses headphones, SD cards, digital recorders and a webcam.
DBS (Formally crb)
Students on the Foundation Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, Foundation Degree in Early Childhood, MA in Social Work and Postgraduate Diploma in Education (FE and Skills Sector) or the CLL Research placement module will be required to take a DBS check, the application cost for this is £53 online or £60 postal.
On the majority of courses you will be required to physically attend an interview at the University or at the partner college. The interviews are mandatory and no expenses are available for any travel, parking or loss of income incurred.
Course resources are generally provided electronically, therefore if students wish to have a hard copy there will be a charge if printing is carried out on a university printer.
Course specific costs
Some of these courses require travel to placements, which will be at student's own cost. Where being observed (Certificate, Diploma and PGDE) if the placement is further than 30 miles away from the University students are charged at 45p a mile for the additional cost.
Students will be required to travel to placements, 70 days in year one and 100 days in year 2. This travel will be at an additional cost. A DBS check costing approximately £50 is required.
