Short Courses

Our NEW Lifelong Learning Open Programme will launch this autumn and we will be offering some free taster sessions during September. More information about these will be available on our website in June. Meanwhile we are offering three new short courses this summer term, in addition to our popular mindfulness and counselling courses.

Alfred the GreatMeet the Saxons

This is a 7 week non-accredited course.

Have you heard of Beowulf, the Staffordshire Hoard or King Alfred? This multidisciplinary course will introduce you to the literature, history and culture of the Anglo-Saxons. You will explore the rich and diverse literary heritage of the period and discover the spectacular art and archaeological artefacts that have escaped the ravages of time.
