The Centre has three permanent staff who are available for help and advice. Elaine Goodall is the Centre Manager and Sara Hattersley the Assistant Manager. Sara and Elaine are Skills for Life specialists and carry out most of the Centre's training, writing and consultancy work.

Sue Fellows is the Centre Administrator and is responsible for the resources, library system and course management. She also provides support for the West Midlands Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (WMCETT), as part of the Centre for Lifelong Learning.
