A number of Certificates are offered as part of our Open Studies programme which comprise three 10-week modules studied over three terms during the academic year.  Certificates carry 30 credits at Level 1 and, for those students who are interested in continuing with their study and joining the Part-time Degree programme, it might be possible to count this credit towards a degree.

The three modules of a Certificate can be taken as individual free-standing units for which we accept registrations on a termly basis.  However for those students who are interested in completing the whole Certificate, we would recommend registering for all three at the start of the autumn term as this brings the additional benefit of a student library card valid for the academic year. 

Students booking for the whole certificate need to provide a passport-style photograph in order for this to be issued.  Photographs are accepted either as hard copy or digitally to:  openstudies@warwick.ac.uk.

With a library card, students are entitled to:

• enhanced borrowing rights at the University’s Library, including access to electronic resources
• register for an Information Technology Services account

The library card is valid from date of issue through to the end of the academic year thereby giving library access during the winter and spring vacations as well as term-time.
