How to Apply

In order to avoid delay in the application process, you are strongly advised to read all the text below before moving to the PG admissions link at the foot of this page.

Postgraduate Awards (PGAs) are available for core and some optional modules. These are 20 credit standalone academic awards that may be taken on their own and/or used to count towards a larger award. Available PGAS are detailed within the course brochure. If you have any further questions about PGAs please contact career.studies@warwick.ac.uk or call 024 7657 4192.

Once in the PG Admissions screens, please specify which course you are applying to in the Purpose of Study Statement section (i.e. PG Award, PG Certificate, PG Diploma or MA). You are also asked to specify preferred start month and year. It is possible to start in the current academic year (CEIGHE and MSWE programmes). All applicants must send in a workplace reference or arrange for it to be submitted. The workplace reference should tell the admissions team about relevant or previous experience and suitability for the course in question. This can be arranged and posted by the applicant provided it is supplied on official headed paper with the referee's original signature. If in employment, the employment section entitled Nature of Work and Position Held must be completed showing current employer, job title, dates employed and detail about the role and career development support offered (if any). The Qualification Details section must also be completed

Accreditation of prior accredited or experiential learning (APL) may be available subject to a detailed application process. The prior learning should have taken place within the last 5 years. APL may be accepted for no more than one third of a course (i.e. 20 credits PG Certificate, 40 credits PG Diploma or 60 credits MA). It is the applicant's responsbility to show clearly how the learning outcomes within modules in the receiving programme have been met at postgraduate level. All applications will need to be completed prior to applying for admission. Please contact us for the correct form and more information if needed.

The specific course title and duration will be finalised to you in your acceptance letter from the Centre for Lifelong Learning (up to 3 years for PG Certificate, 5 years PG Diploma and up to 6 years MA) once we have received full confirmation from PG Admissions that the conditions of the offer have been met. Candidates are invited to apply using the following link http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/apply/
