Essential Skills Centre

The Team

The Centre has three permanent staff who are available for help and advice. Elaine Goodall is the Centre Manager and Sara Hattersley the Assistant Manager. Sara and Elaine are Skills for Life specialists and carry out most of the Centre's training, writing and consultancy work.

Sue Ramage is the Programme Coordinator and is responsible for the resources, library system and course management. She also provides support for the West Midlands Centre for Excellence in Teacher Training (WMCETT), as part of the Centre for Lifelong Learning.

Anne Schofield, Dot Powell, Rachael Roberts and Steve Pardoe are all tutors on the teacher training courses we run. Click below to find out more about each of the staff at the Centre.
