We offer flexible modes of study and provision throughout the Midlands for those who wish to teach in the Lifelong Learning sector. To enhance your career opportunities in this sector, we offer a coherent pathway programme, from Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector through to PhD and Sector specific modules (Human and Physical Resources, Contemporary Issues, Fiscal Policies, Research Methods, Reflective Practice).
The University of Warwick's Teaching and Training pathway programme offers those within the Lifelong Learning sector the opportunity to undertake a series of LLUK endorsed initial teaching and training qualifications. The ITT (Lifelong Learning Sector) programme gives credit for qualifications and prior experience and is offered at a number of colleges in the Midlands. We also run a flexible study variant of the new Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector course.

A whole new world has been presented to me and I am thoroughly enjoying every moment of it. The students and the tutors on the course are very supportive and I would like to continue on to a Masters after graduating, which may, after completion of my degree, lead to my third career change.
