Please note in order to progress to Year 2 of the DTLL applicants must hold NQF Level 2 qualifications in English Language and Maths.

150 hours of teaching practice are required for this level. Eight hours of this will be observed, assessed and discussed with the trainee. Part of the observation will be carried out by a mentor or trainee support tutor who shares the same subject specialist skills as the trainee.
Assessment
In order to pass this course you will be required to undertake and successfully complete all the summative assessment activities and the teaching practice requirements.
